Sasha Joyce 2011

Continuing her support for the Special Olympics Bahamas, Sasha Joyce joined with U.S. Ambassador Nicole Avant, volunteers, and Special Olympics Bahamas athletes to celebrate Eunice Kennedy Shriver (EKS) Day. Celebrated world-wide, EKS Day pays tribute to the spirit of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the woman who started the Special Olympics movement.

The festivities took place in the front lawn of the residence of Ambassador Avant. Housed under tents, volunteers and athletes participated in various games and activities including dance, face painting and enjoying pizza.

Sasha Joyce was crowned in her national pageant and will be representing the Bahamas in our Miss World 2011 Final Competition on Sunday 6th November in London.
