BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Miss World BVI (MWBVI) committee has continued its support of the local community by making three charitable donations from funds raised through its national Beauty with a Purpose campaign.

Proceeds were presented to the Family Support Network, BVI HIV/AIDS Foundation and the BVI Autism Center, with past and present MWBVI title holders in attendance for the presentations.

“We understand that when our community flourishes, so does our businesses” said MWBVI Committee chair Mr. Damion Grange. “For this reason, we hope to continue to support a corporate culture that sees giving back as an investment in a better quality of life for all.”

Sara Husein of the BVI Autism Center received a $200 check from the Committee, while Mrs. Arletta Bickerton of BVI HIV/AIDS Foundation and Ms. Wendy Burnett-Charles of Family Support Network both collected checks of $500 each on behalf of those organizations.

We are thrilled by the continued hard work of the British Virgin Islands, and wish all of this year’s candidates good luck!
